A couple of useful things came up after Monday’s Bothell Beat went out, so here’s a quick bonus note before the weekend.
🍻 Oktoberfest at The Hop and Hound
Friday, September 25, noon through Sunday, September 27, 9 p.m. · The Hop and Hound · 18116 101st Ave NE
The Hop and Hound is stretching Oktoberfest across the weekend with festbiers, stein-holding, pretzel necklaces and homemade pretzels.
Dogs are welcome, so this could be an easy stop if you’re already out with your pup.
Good to know: The venue is 21+.
🚧 I-405 weekend closures
Friday night through Sunday morning in Bothell
If you’re heading south this weekend, plan for some overnight delays.
Up to three southbound I-405 lanes between SR 527 and SR 522 will close:
Friday: 11:30 p.m.–5 a.m. Saturday
Saturday: 11:30 p.m.–8 a.m. Sunday
WSDOT will also use rolling slowdowns between 12:01–4 a.m. both nights, which may briefly stop traffic.
Heading farther south? All southbound I-405 lanes from Coal Creek Parkway in Bellevue to North Southport Drive in Renton will be closed from 11:30 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Monday.
